CVS Pharmacy - The first CVS store was opened in Lowell, MA in 1963, with name standing for Consumer Value Stores. Today, there are about 6,200 stores in 43 states, 14 distribution centers, regional business offices, and their Store Support Center in Woonsocket, R.I.
