Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Brookwood Medical Center is a 586-bed full service medical facility. With a workforce of over 2,500 employees and volunteer staff that support the medical center, we have been recognized for our growth and leadership in designing innovative medical programs and services.
For over 35 years, we have provided high quality health care for families throughout Alabama and surrounding states. Over 800 privately practicing physicians treat and refer patients to Brookwood, with over 300 physicians practicing in offices located in one of the four professional buildings connected to the hospital. Brookwood is accredited by the Joint Commission of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the Alabama State Department of Health.
